Ok guys, this is something which is well annoying, especially since you pay for a service and it ends up breaking! I host most of my domains with 123-reg.co.uk but since 5:30pm yesturday all of the domains on there nameservers went down and thus causing a whole load of unresolvable domain names!Now i have around 25 domains in my account including this one! Luckily for me i host a cache and my dns requests are cached if it suddenly becomes unresolvable so i can happily use this site and other which have ended up in the big black whole of unresolvable death!
Now I had no warning or email from 123-Reg stating that the service will be up and fixed shortly.
I’ve resorted to starting a post on the Web Hosting Talk forums to see if its been a bigger issue than what I thought, to view the thread see here.
Update: Its now the morning (15 hours later) and its still not fixed.
Update x2: I’ve found this reply from pipex’s status page. Looks like its alot bigger than I thought.
